TIG Welding 201
TIG Welding 201
Continue to Weld.
This is the more advanced class for using the TIG Welder and Plasma Cutter in the Metal Area. We will spend just a few minutes on basic safety and area requirements. First we will go over the basic Plasma cutter setup, expect 30 minutes of hands on metal cutting
Then expect the next hour of hands on setup and shared TIG welding time
I’m going to limit the number of students to 5, so each person gets enough hands on time to be able to feel comfortable using the TIG welder and Plasma Cutter
You MUST have completed the Welding 101 or already feel very comfortable MIG welding before taking this class, as it is not an intro to welding, but a more advanced class focusing on TIG
Students should bring their own shield and gloves, if they have them. But they are not required, as we have setups available to use.
Please do NOT bring your own welding equipment to use, the setup and testing time could impact other students.
There will be a fee for this class is $19.96 for current Knox Makers members. There will be a 2 person minimum, maximum of 5. If the class minimum is not reached by midnight two days before the event the class will be canceled and all tickets will be refunded.
