Amigurumi is the art of knitting and crocheting small stuffed creatures. In this class, you'll learn the basics of crochet amigurumi by making a jellyfish. Learn how to make a magic loop, crochet in the round, increase and decrease, and join pieces together. Beginners are welcome, even if this is your first crochet project!

The cost is $9.96 for Knox Makers members, $19.96 for General Public. There will be a maximum of 6 spots for this class, and a minimum of 2 tickets must be sold. If the class minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class start time, the class will be canceled and all tickets will be refunded.

Using Inkscape's add-on for the silohette, you will print and cut your own black and white sticker. Then we will explore using other materials like cardstock, vinyl and felt.

Pre-requisites: Find or create an image for sticker. Attach your images to Amy_25 in Mattermost prior to class.

This class was made for the beginner. No prior knowledge required. The snowflake pattern uses repetition of a few basic stitches. Better yet is that the finished project doesn’t have to be perfect. What snowflake is?

All materials are provided plus we will match you to the size of hook that works best for you and your yarn selection.

Using Inkscape's add-on for the Silhouette, you will print and cut your own sticker using registration marks. We will walk through the trace commands and create two cut lines at different depths. The first will cut sticker paper, the second cuts all the way through.  If time allows, we will explore using other materials like cardstock, vinyl and felt.
