Knox Makers™ - Machining Zone
Our Machining Zone is equipped and organized for machining, layout, inspection, metrology and prototyping. Facilities include lathes, milling machines, drill presses, bandsaws and a well-organized selection of hand tools. A variety of fasteners, endmills, and lathe bits are available in the Machining Zone Store. Regular tool authorization and orientation classes are offered, ensuring that beginners will find themselves just as much at home as seasoned machinists.

Added a eye protection station above the control box on the Brideport mill. It has a pair of over-the-glasses and standard safety glasses. Placed in line of site to help remind you to wear them while using the mill.

The retractable power cord reel has been moved and two 8 outlet power strips have been installed on the assembly table. No more tripping over the power extension cord or bumping your head into it! Next is to wire up the inspection table with some outlets!
