We’ll start with a brief overview of Knox Makers’ origins and purpose and talk about how the organization works. You’ll learn a bit about the resources available to members and about the path to membership. Afterwards, we’ll hang out and socialize.
The focus is on new members, but longer-term members are encouraged to come and meet new folks.

Thinking about buying a lathe but you don't know which one? What's the best tool for hollowing a bowl or box? Not sure about that special piece of wood, how to cut it and mount it on the lathe? Woodturners (and wannabe woodturners) talking with other woodturners about woodturning.
Class members are encouraged to bring eye protection (full face shields are ideal. Do not wear any long, loose-fitting clothing, long sleeve shirts, bracelets, rings or low hanging neck chains. A hat would be appropriate if you don’t want to be picking woods chips out of your hair.
This is a free hang out session dedicated to wood turning. Come happy and leave with rounded things.
