Knox Makers will be open for those who wish to work on a sewing project. While this time is unstructured, sewing experts will be on hand to answer any questions or assist with project construction. Bring your passion, creativity, and your projects! This time is for all skill levels and all types of sewing projects. The goal of this night is to share sewing knowledge and skills in an interactive, social environment.
There will be a fee for this event of $5 for the general public, free for current Knox Makers members. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own, personal machines to work on. There are limited machines available at the space.
Knox Makers is a place for the Knoxville area’s engineers, artists, hobbyists, innovators, educators and entrepreneurs to work and play. We are a technology and art collective dedicated to the promotion of creativity enabled and informed by science. Our lectures, workshops, and outreach programs inspire and educate both members and the general public. Our workshop provides members with both the space for large projects and the tools to complete them. We are a non-profit educational organization supported by member dues and staffed by volunteers.
