With the holidays over, if you just got a 3D printer and are really unsure of what to do next, this class is for you. Bring your printer if you want and we can get it sorted out.

This class will focus on
*using slicers to get a good print
*choosing the right filament for the job
*getting a good first layer
*basic maintenance
*basic calibration and tuning

The minimum number of participants will be 4, while the maximum number will be 10.  The cost for Non-Members is $29.96, the Knox Maker Member Fee is $19.96. If the minimum number of participants is not attained up to 48 hours before the event, it will be canceled and the fees refunded.

Directions-  Knox Makers parking and entrance is located around the back of the SPARK building in the fenced in area.

Knox Makers is a place for the Knoxville area’s engineers, artists, hobbyists, innovators, educators and entrepreneurs to work and play. We are a technology and art collective dedicated to the promotion of creativity enabled and informed by science. Our lectures, workshops, and outreach programs inspire and educate both members and the general public. Our workshop provides members with both the space for large projects and the tools to complete them. We are a non-profit educational organization supported by member dues and staffed by volunteers.
