The holiday season is already upon us which means it’s time to do some making of holiday things. And, what better than a flashing LED holiday bit of swag?

Join Ray and Issac for a guided build of the USB-powered ornament/desk-piece/gift/however-you-use-it pictured above and then take it home to earn geek street cred among your soon-to-be-jealous friends.

If you’ve never soldered before, fear not, we will teach the skills you need as we go.

The board consists of 22 components including resistors, LEDs, a switch and a USB power jack.

All materials will be provided, you only need to come ready to have fun!

There will be a fee for this class of $14.96 for current Knox Members – all proceeds go to Knox Makers. There will be a 5 person minimum. If the class minimum is not reached by midnight two days before the event the class will be canceled and all tickets will be refunded.

Directions: Knox Makers parking and entrance is located in the fenced area around the back of the SPARK building.
