LEGO 101: Making the Henley Street Bridge

creating a lego exhibit

The Tennessee Valley LEGO Cub recently completed a 20 foot long model of the Henley Street Bridge made entirely of LEGO bricks. It features over 73,000 pieces and a complete lighting system, which includes 344 LEDs and over 1,000 feet of wiring. From design to finished display, this presentation takes a look behind the scenes at all the details that go in to creating a large LEGO exhibit, including a look at the lighting system which was developed specifically for this project.

Like all other Tuesday nights, this event is free and open to the public. Our night will begin with a Show and Share where attendees are encouraged to bring out the projects they have been working on. This is a great time to request feedback for the future direction of your project, or you can just bring out something you want to show off. We hope to see you there!
