Laser Cutter Workshop
This is an overview class and a hands-on workshop with our laser cutter, Goldfinger. Attendees of this class will learn the basics of laser cutting and how to safely operate the laser cutter in our space. This class is intended for members who have not yet been authorized to use Goldfinger or need/want a review of its operation. This class is not open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop and to pre-install Inkscape and the KM-LASER bundle extensions for it. If you do not have access to a laptop, one will be provided for use during class. If you need help installing Inkscape or the extensions, you may use one of the provided laptops and help installing the software will be available after class.
Inkscape can be downloaded here and the KM-LASER bundle here.
