Laser Cutter 101
This is an overview class and a hands-on workshop with our laser cutter, Goldfinger. Daniel will lead attendees of this class as they learn the basics of laser cutting and how to safely operate the laser cutter in our space. This class is intended for members who have not yet been authorized to use Goldfinger or need/want a review of its operation.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop and to pre-install Inkscape and the KM-LASER bundle extensions for it. If you do not have access to a laptop, one will be provided for use during class. If you need help installing Inkscape or the extensions, you may use one of the provided laptops and help installing the software will be available after class.

The maximum number of participants is 5 and the minimum number is 2. If the minimum number of participants is not attained at 48 hours before the event. It will be canceled and funds will be refunded.
Directions- Knox Makers parking and entrance is located around the back of the ETTAC building in the fenced in area.
