KILLSWITCH is Knox Makers’ robot fighting competition scheduled for October 14th, 2017. To keep this competition interesting, our robotic gladiators will need a sufficiently lethal arena to fight in, and we are now in the construction phase in preparing for this event. Join us as we finish up the last of the structural welding by adding the roof onto the trailer, adding some more decorative pieces, and preparing everything to be painted. We will also begin arena hazard construction in earnest, so there will be some opportunities to build mechanisms with welding and pneumatic cylinders.

There will be opportunities for cutting, welding, grinding, painting, wiring, and more! This will be our biggest construction project to date. If you’re interested in building some part of the red hot robotic death, then you should keep an eye on the calendar for more construction events.
