Intro to solder rework
There are several common techniques used to rework solder assembly. In this hands-on class, attendees will learn how to perform hot air rework, use solder braid, manual solder suction, vacuum solder suction, and other methods for fixing the inevitable boo-boos we discover. The use of fluxes, Pb and Pb-free solder, helping hands and other tools will be covered.
This is not a project class, this is a how-to where we will learn using prime choice circuit boards from our beloved hack rack.
Class is intended to be ~60 minutes but 90 minutes is planned in case it takes longer than expected. Class size is limited to 3 so everyone will have significant hands on time.
Class will be held in the Electronics Zone.
All proceeds go to Knox Makers.
Directions- Knox Makers parking and entrance is located around the back of the SPARK building in the fenced in area.
