Destination: Leather City, An Introduction To Leather
Jay will give you a hands on introduction to leather. This class will begin with a tour of the Knox Makers space, and then move into the “Leather City” where we will have a general overview of the tools provided by Makers, what you want in your leather toolbox, the different kinds of leather, particular uses, proper procedures, and safety. At the end of this class, all participates will have worked with leather and made something to take home. Although not a prerequisite for future leather classes it is highly advised to take this class to find out which avenue in the vast township of “Leather City” you may find intriguing.
There will be a fee for this class of $14.96 for the general public, $9.96 for current Knox Makers members. There will be a maximum of 20 spots for this class, and a minimum of 2 tickets must be sold. If the class minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class start time, the class will be canceled and all tickets will be refunded.
