WordPress is an open source platform for building websites. This event is the monthly 3rd Wednesday Meetup for the local WordPress Knoxville Meetup group.

Bring your own blog! We will be looking through everyone’s blogs for off-the-cuff advice and reviews. This is a great networking opportunity, and a casual way to get live feedback. This follows our Yoast SEO plugin presentation in February – whether you use Yoast SEO, another plugin, or just old-fashioned content strategy without plugin assistance, show up to get community advice and feedback on your content.

We will also review common misnomers about how SEO works, common “gotchas” that many people miss, and general content strategy tips.

We’ll be following up with a very special Happiness Bar (WordPress Q&A session led by volunteer experts and pros) dedicated to member questions about content strategy.

Presenters are still needed for upcoming months. If you are interested in leading a lightning talk or a main presentation, please contact the Knoxville WordPress group on Meetup.

More volunteers are needed to run the Happiness Bar, so if you are interested, stop by and talk to one of the volunteers or let us know you’ll be helping in advance.

As usual, this night will consist of a Show and Share portion where WordPress users can show off their projects and what they’re working on – we’ll skip this if no one has anything to share.
