During COVID-19, we built a separate building on our property for blacksmithing. This keeps the majority of our “open flame” work isolated from the main building.

Our blacksmithing building includes a high-end propane forge, a coal forge, anvils in several sizes and styles, a couple of vises, standard hand-tooling for blacksmithing, a big swage block, and some other cutting and drilling tools.
We share a pair of 2×72″ grinders with our friends in the metalworking zone. We also host an oxy-propane cutting torch for the metalworking zone.
Finally, we have a 25-pound Little Giant power hammer and a furnace/foundry for casting.
Keep an eye out for our occasional “Whack and Yack” social event during which members come together to talk shop and bash hot metal into other shapes. Think “Stitch and Bitch” but with metal.
