Education is one of our primary reasons for existing. We routinely run classes to help people learn how to use our tools safely and to help them build small projects.
We offer a small number of membership scholarships to students exploring the crafts/trades to help them get more access to tooling, classes, and other experts.
Beyond any formal educational endeavors, we are also a community of people with a wide array of makery experiences. We don’t offer classes on converting vehicles into campers, but members have helped one another with such projects just to be helpful. Every conversation with a Knox Makers member is a chance to learn from their expertise, or a chance to share expertise of your own.
