Machining 100 – Intro To Machining

This class will begin with a tour of the machining area with a, in-depth discussion of each tool, it’s uses, proper procedures, and safety. At the end of this class, all participating members will be authorized to use the drill press, box pan brake, handtools, and the horizontal bandsaw. **This is a prerequisite for the Bridgeport Mill and Lathe tool authorization classes**
AA – Adult Arting
Knox Makers 116 Childress St SW, KnoxvilleAA - Adult Arting. Come and express your creative self with other adults at Knox Makers. BYOB, but we'll provide the creative seed and materials! Events will vary and be led by a mix of local creatives. Topics will include such fun things as painting, sculpting, sewing, mixed media, drawing, and who knows what else!
This week's instructor is Dominique and the topic will be Alcoholic Acrylics. Learn to paint an abstract acrylic 8"x10" painting. No skills required as you can learn basic painting techniques, color theory, and other essential painting skills in the class with ease. If you try, you will go home with a one of a kind piece of art for your own home.... or to send to your enemy. Your choice. :)
