WordPress is an open source platform for building websites, and Knoxville’s WordPress meetup group will gather for their monthly meeting to discuss WordPress topics. This month’s focus: Yoast SEO. The Yoast SEO plugin offers tips on how to improve content’s readability and how to manage how search engines index and treat your site’s content. This meeting is aimed at all users.

After the presentation, a WordPress Q&A session led by volunteer experts and pros, known as a Happiness Bar, will take place. This month’s Happiness Bar will be dedicated to the Yoast SEO plugin. A note about the Happiness Bar: Some specialized or extensive work might need to be done on your site, including an audit of the code, before sound advice could be offered and might be inappropriate to hash out by volunteers. If this is the case, our Happiness Bar volunteers will try to provide any resources or freelancers that may be more appropriate to investigate on your own.

All users are welcome to join us after the meeting as we go to Market Square for drinks and social time.
