Bicycle Maintenance Class

bike

Gabe from the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club will review terminology and operation techniques for mountain and road bikes. This class will explain how to perform routine maintenance on your bike including basic tune-ups, adjusting the shifters for the gears, inspecting and adjusting the brakes, and other points that should be reviewed periodically. Gabe will also discuss cable replacement for brakes and shifters, and he will demonstrate how to change a tube/tire. Recommendations for tools and supplies to carry with you when you bike will also be covered.

Like all other Tuesday nights, this event is free and open to the public. Our night will begin with a Show and Share where attendees are encouraged to bring out the projects they have been working on. This is a great time to request feedback for the future direction of your project, or you can just bring out something you want to show off. We hope to see you there!
